Een Shoot the Moon site Bassist Roger Glover stapte in 1973 uit Deep Purple om zich (onder meer) aan soloprojecten te wijden. Zijn eerste soloplaat (en animatiefilm)was The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast, door Roger Glover and Guests (allemaal bekende rockmuzikanten en -zangers). Het nummer Love is all werd op single uitgebracht. In Engeland werd het slechts een klein hitje, maar de vrolijke boodschap, het aanstekelijke refrein en voor al de prachtig geanimeerde videoclip maakten het een nummer-één-hit in Nederland (zomer 1975). In latere jaren werd het filmpje heel populair in Frankrijk en Australië.
